How can disruptive innovation improve maternal care?

An Executive Workshop took place during Safe Motherhood Week at the Microsoft Executive Briefing Center in Brussels, to discuss maternal care challenges still prevalent today and to explore how technological innovation can help tackle them.

The attendees agreed on the need to establish a global ecosystem approach to tackling maternal care issues, and as a next step proposed to develop an integrated, interactive platform to centralise information for all individuals and organisations working on initiatives related to improving maternal care for women.
