Building the ultimate infectious disease barometer

Data gathering is one of the key challenges in fighting dengue, according to the WHO, and we’re taking up the challenge by building the ultimate dengue barometer.

Dengue Track (beta) is an innovative tool that crowdsources data on outbreaks from multiple sources, like search behaviour and social media.

It will help predict outbreaks, alert those at risk, and ultimately stem the spread of the disease. The tool could be used to track many other diseases, such as the Zika virus and malaria.
